Z Estates emerged champions in the Corporate Golf Tournament, which concluded at Bhubaneswar Golf Club course here two days ago. Z Estates, comprising father-son duo of Tapan Mohanty and Satyajyoti Mohanty, topped the leaderboard with 131 points, while SRB team, involving Rajib Sahoo and J N Rath finished runners-up with 129 points.
P K Jena won the first position in 0-18 handicap category with 37 points, while Dharmendra Sakwana finished second with identical score. Competing with men, leading woman golfer Lakhi Swain emerged winner in 19-24 handicap group with 40 points, while S K Bhoina ended second with 32 points. The best gross prize was pocketed by Prashant Mourya with 25 points. A special prize was given to Oscar Dung Dung, who scored 37 points.
Earlier on the opening day, Dhirendra Sakwana (38) and J N Rath (36) secured the first and second positions respectively in 0-18 handicap section. The top two positions in 19-24 handicap group were bagged by Tapan Mohanty and (35) and Dharmendra Mishra (35) respectively. J B Pany (Dulal) won the best gross prize with 23 points, while the first prize in ladies category went to Lakhi Swain. A K Behura received the prize as best outstation golfer.
